Sup, I'm Iris.
I turn creative ideas
into working technology.
AI/HPC infrastructure engineer. Debugging GPUs, building for the web, and making things just because I can.
A Bit of Everything
I was curious and now it's a whole thing.
AI/HPC Infrastructure
Big iron, no manual.
Somewhere between bare metal and the command line, I'm usually tracking down a GPU fault, untangling a network issue, or figuring out why an entire rack decided to have a bad day.
NVLink · Fabric Manager · Redfish · BMC
Web Design & Development
Fully custom, no page builders.
Custom websites for creative people, built from scratch with thoughtful design, clean code, and interactive details. No templates or boring layouts, just unique web experiences that bring ideas to life.
JavaScript · React · Vercel
Systems & Automation
Make the computer do it.
I have a habit of turning minor inconveniences into entire software projects. From GPU fleet monitoring to random scripts, if a computer can do it for me, I'm making it happen.
Python · Ansible · FastAPI · Docker
Homelab & Privacy
VLANing my entire house.
Building my own little corner of the internet through self-hosting, Linux, home networking, and giving old hardware new life. I'm big on digital independence, keeping my data mine, and occasionally overengineering things just because I can.
Arch Linux · VLANs · Self-hosting
Beyond the Terminal
I have an insatiable curiosity and a habit of getting way too invested in whatever catches my attention. I think the best part of being alive is how much there is to learn, explore, and experience, and I fully intend to spend my life doing just that.
I'm equally happy getting lost in a national park, digging through vintage treasures, learning a new language, or having a three-hour conversation about something I'd never thought about before. I love people with interesting stories, unconventional perspectives, and anyone who can teach me something new.
My best friend is Lotus, a fluffy black cat I found on Craigslist for $10. Still the best investment I've ever made.
The Blueprints
The women who challenged the status quo and made room for the rest of us.
Growing up with interests that often put me in male-dominated spaces, these women showed me I never had to choose between being feminine and intelligent. They taught me to take up space, challenge expectations, and if the front door is closed, go through the window. If there's one thing I'll never stop talking about, it's getting more women into tech. Your background doesn't define your potential, and there's a place for you here. Women helped build computing from the ground up. We're not outsiders trying to earn a seat at the table. We've always belonged here and making sure more women know that has become one of my biggest passions.
